Local promoter and photographer Monica Tyson shares an embrace with St. Louis native producer and artist Osunlade. Tyson and Osunlade hosted a listening party for Osunlade's newest CD, "Rebirth" off his own label, Yoruba Records. The event was at Thaxton's Speakeasy in downtown St. Louis last Wednesday.

We checked out WESL radio personality/event promoter Craig Blac's (middle) weekly Elevations event. He;s pictured with event DJ DJ Quinn and guitarist/producer Wildmann who was featured in a music set that night.
The duo from the event video/photography company Night Society Michael Beezy and Maurice Bishop was in the house documenting the event for its website.

Massie rocked the house with cover tunes including a moving rendition of Gladys Knight's "You're the Best thing that Ever Happened to me."
