Actually, the show began as a mock fashion show with mock models.

After the mock show, the stars of TLC's "What Not to Wear" Clinton Kelly and Stacy London walked out with camera crew.
Kelly and London were there to surprise a person in the crowd who was getting a $5,000 makeover.
The crowd member was getting a makeover and it was discovered that the young lady with the fur boots' family submitted her name for a makeover. It was also found out that the young lady was secretly being filmed for six months including that nite.
The hosts had the crowd to cheer along for the TLC show.
After the filming of the "What Not to Wear" segment, the real show started. Hosting was "Project Runway" runner up, Jillian Lewis.
Lewis presented the judges (she was one herself) who were going to judge the Top 6 finalists for the competition. The winner was going to win a $30,00 prize package.
Lewis also called out the sponsors of that nite's show.
The first finalist was:

The designer (first lady) is Jennifer Neal.

Project Runway finalist Jillian Lewis debuted her latest colelction.

Wardrobe stylist Craig Minter (in "04" shirt) was a bit occupied BUT....

Lewis came out after her collection was displayed.
AFTERWARDS, the judges deliberated on who would win Project: Deisgn meanwhile:
STL TV's Sande Stevenson gettin a touch up on the make up.
STL Post fashion Editor Debra Bass (in brown braids) did her schmoozing.
Lewis had the results.
The event coordinators (including Dwight Carter walking behind lady) brought out the main award, a sewing machine.
The fashion crew also came out while the deisgners came out one by one in order of show. The first was Wachowska.

Next was Katie Aichholz of Katie Kantley Designs
Next was Kristin Cunningham of Kristin Cortez Designs.
Last was Thouvenot and Coyne.
AND THE WINNER WAS:

Jovic got plenty congrats.
And many hugs.
...and tears of joy.
The crowd get their last schmoozing on before going off to the afterparty downstairs at Sleek Steakhouse and Ultra Lounge.
