Notice Me Award nominee and performer rapper T Man presented the Female Artist Award to:
Aloha! She was not in attendance at the time of the award but came later in the show to perform. Accepting in her behalf was her producer and labelmate Bradd Young, who in turn, received the Male Artist Award.
Ambition presented the Venue of the Year to:
Club Amnesia! Phil Assets repped the venue and jokingly said that the award should have went to The Loft. He then brought up his assistant to the podium to formally accept the award for the venue.
Businessman Mike Roberts Jr accepted one of the Legends Awards on behalf of his father, Mike Roberts, Sr.
The Moodmaker of the Year went to DJ Sir Thurl but before he could accept his award, DJ Krisstyle did a "Kanye" and said that he should have won, but it was all in fun.
Sir Thurl stressed that it was important that all the dee-jays in St. Louis stuck together and regained the St. Louis music scene on a local and nat'l level.
Rapper Gena received Song of the Year for "Dip in the Club" and the Industry Girl Award went to Jerrese Patrick.
Deejays Sir Thurl and Krisstyle presented the Female Host Award to Mocha Latte!
Nora from Bad Girls 6 presented the Male Host of the Year to Big Terrence who was in attendance (OUTCAM had a battery fail at this time. LOL)
INTERMISSION

Spud Nelson and his group Block Boyz presented the Promotion of the Year to:
1st Fridays! Accepting on their behalf was Exo assistant Jill Spills.
Promotional Model Award went to Whitney Sade who thanked her supporters and her haters.

Mo Spoon, of MPAC who just got there. LOL
Eye Candy model Lauren Renee , said some honorable things about Mo before he accepted his award.

Mario The Great who after he received his award just said, "Thank you" and walked away. Classic.

Reese and Kenyatta presented the Female Hustler Award to:
Mocha Latte! She challenged all the ladies half her age to step up their promotions game. She said if she can do it at 39 (years old) then they have no excuse.LOL
Kym D, Watson and Kerry presented the second Legend Award to:
Drexel Stith and the Stith Family. Stith made a request for all the promoters whom he has worked with , to come up to the podium to accept the award along with him .

Jasmine Matthews won the Queen of Curves Award. She was not in attendance (and Mocha said and if she was there we would all know why she won. LOL)
Mo Spoon presneted the Rookie Model of the Year to Lauren Renee!
Shanell Howard, whos life size poster of herself was displayed in front of the podium area, won her first of her three nominations. This go round was for Runway Diva of the year.
Mocha presented the award to Howard. She also won Picture Perfect Model , the second of three nods (tied with Cherie Campbell who was not in attendance)
FASHION SHOW BREAK
The Male Model Award went to Tony Vega. Accepting for him was King Kerry.
The Female Model Award went to Shanell Howard who swept wins all of her nominations.(as she did last year)

NOTE: Overall this was a well put together award show. Much better than last year's at Lure Nightclub. The big winner was Shanell Howard, who won three and Mocha Latte who also swept her categories with two. The big shock of the evening was award fave King Yella losing both of his photography awards to first time winners Teddy Blackett (event photographer, who didnt expect to win) and Stephen Garnett (fashion photographer).
