NOTE: We got there around 11ish after stopping by ST. Louis Rams' Steven Jackson's party celebrating his rushing yard record and new foundation at the Mandarin (after finding out the actual event ended at midnite) . Overall, this was one of the better Arts, Beats and Lyrics, atmosphere alone (Last year it was at a space at the Hilton in downtown St. Louis which didnt have the same hip-hop feel ). Some of the artists featured included Carlos rodrigues, Brooklyn, and couple Danielle and Kevin Mccoy. They also had a room where folk can play Hip-Hop Karaoke from Wii and winners got free merchandise including party hats and backpacks from gentleman Jacks.
In the house were the who's who of STL stars: Mocha Latte, Calvin Nelson (who was sllllllllllllllloshed. LOL) , Thurlester Robinson, Big Tah, attorney Daniel Brown, promoters of the event Eddie Holman and Rhashad Whittier of SYGU, Freetime's Roy Robinson (another promoter), Triky Haley of Close to Famous, Tatum Potts (his wife Lady Erica was one of the Gentleman Jack Models), designer Skylar Barnes(Hey, who was that guy who you were handing with who's Afro was a the size of all the Jackson Five plsu Randy put together?LOL) , and singer David Walker (congrats on the new boo). After it was over, most of the crowd had gone to The Label for the afterparty.
