For the everyday woman
Vintage chic

This dress was H.O.T.
The bags were by singer Jessica Simpson's purse line.
Spring chic

Show Me Nights' commentator Miss Tara interviewing one of the models, Ashley

Fashion stylist Julia Stricker talking about the event .
NOTE: The event was quite good for an afternoon inside the mall using a clothing line space to hold it. The appetizers were delish and heavy and the drinks were right on time. Even though the actual show was about 30 minutes long, it was overall a nice event for the standing room only (literally) crowd.
ON SATURDAY:
We checked out the Mayweather-Mosley Fight Party held at Karma. Pictured is resident host, Mocha Latte. The party was promoted by Close to Famous (who had a private party on the third floor) Topher and Karma.
Before the fight started, Latte made annoucements for those who wanted to place bets on who would win and what round. The cash prize was $500 but folk had to chip in to win.
Folk gathering to see the prelim fight on the second floor.
Attendees (from left) Troy Jeff, Street ballers producer/star Craig Thomas, Terry Laney and John Oden.
MEANWHILE: ON THE THIRD FLOOR
Dee jays Booker T and Syke had the mp3s cranked in between fight rounds.
ON THE SECOND FLOOR upstairs, Evening Whirl Chief Photographer Kig Yella (left ) and his assistant watched the fight on one of the plasmas.
THEN WE JETTED BACK UP TO THE THIRD FLOOR
.....wherr we got a pic of these lovelies: Miss Kim and Miss Jessica.
Thrill shouts out to the balcony folk for their bets on the fight.
A shot of the second floor from the VIP area.
HBO ring master Larry Merchant talkig with the winner Floyd Mayweather Jr.
NOTE: We mostly walked up and down the steps to catch both the public and private parties going on that nite (nothing really happenned up in the private party for it to be private, but we are just sayin). The fite itself was just "eh." (or in the words of teh Tom Joyne Morning Show--:it wa sliek we were watching 'Dancing with the Stars," LOL) But YOURS TRULY had some excitement after leaving Karma when a raincloud split in half and poured down rain like a waterfall. OMG YOURS TRULY was doing a yard dash to the Impala while my clothes were past wet. When YOURS TRULY got in the car, I immediately cranked the car and turned up the heat switch to MAX so the cold dampness wouldnt start my sniffles. SMH.
