CONGRATULATIONS OUTTOWN FOR MAKING IT TO 1,000!
There's my nephew Tyrek, who will graduate from Whiteside Junior High and turn 14 on May 20, going inside Willard's Tailor and Suit Shop in Fairview Heights, Ill recently to pick out a suit for his prom (Whiteside Middle School ) on May 13. (Pics by Natasha Atkins)

The tailor having him try on a suit coat

Tyrek looking in the mirror to see how it looks.

The tailor writes up the receipt for the suit.

BUT..............................

Tyrek has second thoughts and goes back to the drawing board.

A few days later....

He returns to Williard's and the tailor shows him color schemes .

Tyrek gets a little help from his grandma on his choice.

AND THE CHOICE IS....

Night Magic was the dee-jay and they started off quite interesting by playing the Cha-Cha Slide. The trophies on the table were for the Who's Who at the prom.

This lovely young lady was Tyrek's ex and she broke up with him right before the prom. Bittered? Nahh. lol

After the prom, most of them went to a house party in Belleville.

Tyrek is growing up. WHAAAAAAAAT? LOL

NOTE: We thought this was the perfect post to celebrate our 1,000th POST of OUTTOWN--with family--a youngster going to his first prom. His life growth is our life growth.

Here's to ya OUTTOWN. We have been to many events in and away from St. Louis, featured and flashed hundreds of people and chronicled the 411 on folks who lived, were born, were raised or toured through St. Louis and the Illinois-Missouri area .

Hopefully our journey can take us to another 1,000.

Let's hope before the world ends. LOL

Congratulations Tyrek and congratulations OUTTOWN!
