The highly anticipated “Watch the Throne” CD between hip-hop icons Chicago reared Kanye West and Jay-Z, arrived fresh on Monday exclusively via iTunes, quickly becoming the service’s No. 1 purchase before its release in stores Friday. The album is projected to sell over 500,000 copies in its first week in the U.S., according to industry sources. That's above initial where prognosticators placed the set's debut week sales somewhere in the range of 400,000 - 500,000 copies. The album is on track to become the second-largest sales week of the year, behind Lady Gaga's 1.1 million opener for "Born This Way."

"Watch" will easily top the Billboard 200 chart next week (which will be revealed on Aug. 17). The album will mark the 12th No. 1 album for Jay-Z and the fifth for West. Jay has previously topped the list with two other collaborative albums: "MTV Ultimate Mash-Ups Presents: Collision Course" with Linkin Park, and "Unfinished Business" with Chicago native R. Kelly.

"Watch the Throne," which incredibly didn't leak to the Web as so many eagerly-awaited albums have over the years, is exclusive to iTunes until Friday, Aug. 12. That's when all other retailers -- physical and digital -- will start selling "Watch." Of course, most brick-and-mortar retailers could opt to ignore the official street date and begin selling the CD as soon as they receive it, which may be as early as Wednesday.

By then, some buyers and critic’s remorse may have set in. Because as good a record as this is, it’s not at all the masterpiece we so want it to be.

Well, critics lauding or panning alone, the CD is going to make Rockafella Records even more richer!

The Watch The Throne CD covers are also making newz, For example, the black-and-white photo of Jay-Z and Kanye West features both men having gnarly fangs of a lion coming out of their mouths with whiskers sprouting from their cheekbones. The metaphor being the lion is often used to metaphorically speak of thrones and Kings. So, obviously, Jay-Z and West consider themselves the fearless lions of hip-hop.There’s also an alternative album cover of ‘Watch the Throne’ which features four golden stars, red flowers of some kind and lots of pointy things. It’s a more colorful artwork than the gold-embroidered, Illuminati-alleged design that is the ‘WTT’ cover. Finally, there’s another black-and-white image of a classical statuary of the Virgin Mary with wings in a cemetery. A big star is plastered on her face, which may appear blasphemous to some religious folks. If anything, the photograph opens up to many different interpretations. Another version is the morphed face of both Hova and Ye.

Who knows with all of the different album cover images but in the end its all about what's inside the covers!

In other Ye newz, is vocal tirades made newz again (surprise). This time ranting about his being compared to Adolph Hitler. This past weekend, the 34-year-old rapper hit another sour note. In a ten-minute, profanity-laced onstage rant during the Big Chill music festival in England, he exclaimed that he often feels as hated as Adolf Hitler.

"I am the number one human being in music," he has said. "That means any person that's living or breathing is number two.""I walk through the hotel," he said, "and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I'm (expletive) insane, like I'm Hitler."

"One day," he added, "people will understand everything I ever did, ever said, was to throw myself on the blade for the sake of someone else."

Billboard magazine Senior Correspondent Gail Mitchell told CBS News, "I think Kanye is being true to Kanye. I don't think he thinks he's doing anything wrong."

Well, what can you say. Ye's tripped out comments makes him. And you gotta love him for it. Thus, no one apparently takes him too seriously. We all know Ye is a bit cerebral,

In unrelated Ye newz, he ranked No. 3 behind Jay Z and P Diddy for the biggest earners in Forbes Hip-Hop's Top Earners list. Kanye made $16 million last year.

Former St Louis Rams player Marshall Faulk (ABOVE RIGHT)received his gold jacket from his manager STL native Rocky Arceneaux at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival inductees dinner last Friday at the Memorial Civic Center in Canton, Ohio. Arceneaux also presented Faulk to induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony Saturday. Through tears, Faulk said Saturday, “Boy this is pretty special. ... I am glad to be a part of it. This is football heaven.” Faulk was voted top offensive player in 1999, 2000 and 2001, and was the NFL’s MVP in 2000. Faulk, who was part of the famous Greatest Show on Turf Super Bowl Team, was the league’s scoring leader in 2000 and ‘01, made seven Pro Bowls and was the first player to gain 2,000 yards from scrimmage in four consecutive years

He is the first St Louis Rams player ever to be inducted.

To see some of his speech go to

Marshall Faulk's former Rams teammate Kurt Warner is expanding his role on NFL Network.

The network said Monday that the retired quarterback of the Rams and Arizona Cardinals and "Dancing with the Stars" alum signed a contract extension to serve as a commentator exclusively for the cable channel where Faulk is also signed.Warner already appears on “NFL Total Access,” and he joined the Thursday night game broadcasts on location and the Sunday morning pregame show as a studio analyst. The former Arena League star also will call the ArenaBowl for a second straight year.

There are rumors brewing again on the set of the hit cable drama “Single Ladies' involving Chicago native LisaRaye and her co-star Stacy Dash. There are unconfirmed rumors around the Web that actress Dash, is being replaced for season two and that Raye was involved with the firing, “

Entertainment writer Jawn Murray, tweeted about this citing InTouch Weekly. He also said there was tension between her and LisaRaye McCoy. He heard there was “emergency casting” for a Dash replacement.

According to a VH1 publicist: “No casting decisions have been made for season 2 of single ladies yet..”

Inside sources on the set are saying that LisaRaye has been working DILIGENTLY behind the scenes to turn the ENTIRE cast and crew against Stacy. They say that every time Stacy would show up late to set (which was NOT often, they were told) or anytime Stacy would mess us one of her lines (also, NOT often) LisaRaye would go BEHIND Stacy's back and SLAM her to the producers, including Queen Latifah who was supposedly the one who fired Dash,

A few months ago EXCLUSIVELY told you that Stacy and LisaRaye got into a FIGHT on set - with LisaRaye HEMMING HER UP!!

Single Ladies,” which just concluded its first season that aired Monday night

Hmm, guess we will see next season which starts in January if this is true and Dash is replaced by Gabrielle Union. LOL

It was good weeks for the St. Louis native artists. Fashion designer Laura Kathleen won this week's challenge on Project Runway and has immunity for next week. She is now in the Top 13. The show airs Thursdays on Lifetime. Also, gospel singer Amber Bullock , who has moved back to her home city after living in Dallas, Tx., made the Top

5 on BET's Sunday Best show this past Sunday as two more singers were sent home.

Missouri Lt. Governor Peter Kinder's pic with former Diamond Cabaret stripper and former Penthouse Pet Tammy Chapman. Kinder’s refusal to comment on a report about his alleged ties to her got folk talking as far as the timing of the pic after his announcement to run for the gubernatorial campaign.

A story published this week in the Riverfront Times was based on an interview with Chapman, who said Kinder was a regular customer when she worked as an “entertainer” at the Diamond Cabaret in Sauget, Ill., in the 1990s. At the time, Kinder was a state senator from Cape Girardeau, his hometown

The woman also old the St. Louis-based Riverfront Times that Kinder also saw her last winter at a different bar where she worked, and he later invited her to share his condo in Brentwood, Mo. And she reportedly declined.

Both Kinder, who is single and never married, and his campaign reportedly declined several opportunities this week to publicly comment on the allegations, d. The Missouri Republican Party also declined to comment on the story, now circulating widely on political websites.

A Republican, Kinder is expected to formally announce his plans to run for governor in September.

In a Facebook message Wednesday evening, Chapman told The Kansas City Star that that she is “not out after Kinder … I did not ask for any of this. I wish to be left alone …”

But in an interview earlier Wednesday with KMOX radio in St. Louis, a woman who identified herself as Chapman said Kinder “courted” her “each time he came in” to Diamond Cabaret.

He became aggressive with me,” the woman told KMOX. “I would do private dances for him, and he would grab my shoulders and … try to press me onto him very, very forcefully.”

She then declined to see Kinder any more.

UGH! Here we go again. Politics make strange bedfellows and we all know politics love to get in and out of bed with secrets just waiting to come out. We dont see this affecting his chances. What Kinder did is nothin compared to what goes on behind closed doors with politicans. We think he will be OK.

'ADD:The St Louis Rams will take on the Indianapolis Colts Saturday 7 p.m. For its first pre season opener at the Edward Jones Dome.

Billboard reports that U2's historic 360 stadium concert July 17 at Busch Stadium grossed well over $4 million, the biggest seller ever at the stadium, and played to a crowd of over 52,000 fans. The concert tour itself has become the biggest tour in history.

St. Louis Cardinals star Albert Pujols put down his baseball bat for a golf club last weekend for his ninth annual Albert Pujols Celebrity Golf Classic at the Country Club of St. Albans. Attended were current and former Cardinals, but also plenty of other luminaries. Matt Holliday, Chris Carpenter and Yadier Molina highlighted the current Redbirds, with Red Schoendienst, Ozzie Smith (PICTURED by William Greenblatt) , hitting coach Mark McGwire and Al Hrabosky among the ex-Cards. Other celebs attended were former baseball greats Dale Murphy, Mike Piazza, Darryl Strawberry and Bo Jackson joined actor Dennis Haysbert, Harlem Globetrotters legend Meadowlark Lemon and St. Louis Blues head coach Davis Payne among the attendees.

The tournament was a fundraiser for the Pujols Family Foundation, which does work benefiting kids with Down Syndrome in the St. Louis area, as well as youngsters who live in poverty in Pujols' native Dominican Republic.

Following the golf tournament was an auction to raise more funds for the foundation.

Pujols addressed reporters with his wife, Deidre, at his side before heading out to help facilitate the event. No questions were asked (or better yet answered by Pujols) about his fate with the Cards next season.

Two personalities made newz for their visits to St Louis as well as its news faclities. First noted was talk show hist Wendy Williams visit to Chesterfield mall Thursday during her summer tour in preparation for her upcoming season three ars on Fox 2 in St Louis. Over 700 people came through the mall;s food court to catch a glimpse of the statuesque personality on stage hamming it with her fans. After that visit, she co-hosted News 11 at 4 p.m. with St. Louis TV personality April Simpson on KPLR Channel 11. Earlier that day she made a TV appearance also on Fox 2 News in the Morning. To see her on the Fox 2 show go to

St. Louis native rapper Prince Ea is going viral with his protest music video “Backwards Rappers” You claimed his video is the best video of 2011 with his slogan “Making Smart Cool.” He made an appearance on Fox 2 this week to talk about his reason of making the video

Prince Ea makes some bold claims: "Kanye West and Jay-Z, they dropping their albums, but August 8 is when I drop my video, the most revolutionary hip-hop video of the year." He goes on to compare the video to Tyler, the Creator's clip for "Yonkers" and Missy Elliot's entire visual catalog while asking for fans to support the video by changing their birthdays to August 8 on Facebook. The plan here is that when people wished you a happy birthday yesterday, you would respond by posting "Backwards Rapper" on their page a little cryptically. Prince Ea is known for ballsy if occasionally baffling strategies, particularly in his guerilla enthusiasm on social media. The video currently has well over 90,000 page views and the support of big names likeBrother Ali, who Tweeted, "Just now seeing this @PrinceEa vid thx to @SageFrancis Not easy being creative/message-driven w/o being corny. Fresh!" so whatever he's doing is clearly working.

The "Backwards Rappers" video takes a literal interpretation of its song title in the middle of the street. Ea begins the song, its lyrics scrolling down the right-hand side of the screen, walking backwards down said street and creating a minor ruckus while dissing the concept of education in support of lifestyle luxury. Or so you'd think.

In this YouTube clip, titled, "Prince Ea Says He Has The BEST Video of 2011!!!!!!," you can find the innovative local rapper talking about his new music video, an admittedly ando admirably innovative video that finds him taking a gimmick, making it work and simultaneously making a statement all at the same time. These are three things Prince Ea consistently does well, and the video itself is the latest in a creative and entertaining string of ways the rapper with the slogan "Make Smart Cool" has proven himself both smart and cool.

Next Wednesday he will be on Fox 2 Morning Show at 9am with an interview with Tim Ezell then a performance at 4pm interview with April Simpson!

Carly star "iCarly" star Miranda Cosgrove was injured in a bus accident early on Thursday her rep confirmed to MTV News. The 18-year-old actress/singer, who is currently on her summer tour, was not seriously injured but did suffer a broken ankle.

The blog reported recently that STL native rap group June 5th, got an attorney and filed a cease and desits order to void the management contract they signed with rapper Waka Flocka's mother Debra Antley.

From reports here’s what the group had to say:

Debra told us she needed money to get our career started so we got our investor REI to put up the money. We gave Debra 50K to get on board and after we signed to her as our manager she asked for another 25K – but the only thing Debra did for us was to introduce us to Gucci Mane and after Gucci heard us spit he told us to do a verse on his song “Gross”.

Everything else we did for ourselves she wasn’t managing us. We got Snoop Dogg, on our song “On My Worst Day” We got Akon, on our song “Savior Tonight” Debra did nothing.

Although Debra did arrange a $1500 performancevideo for our song “Dollaz” but there was no stylist so we had to hire hair and wardrobe ourselves. We honestly feel like we were taken advantage of so we asked Debra to show us a breakdown of the 75k budget we paid her.”

Debra Antney reported to the press that she and he son Waka Flocka will be retiring from the music business. According to insiders, that was because according to Debra, her and her rapping son Waka Flocka both believe that people in the music business are too shady.

We are siding was stlhiphop blogger B Gyrl ha dto say about this:

Now who do you think is really shady here? This girl group, June 5th are just beginning their career in the music business and unfortunately for them a great white shark named Debra Antney took a bite out of their finances. This is not a diss against June 5th, a group of incredibly talented ladies who had the misfortune of learning the hard way... I cringe when I think of what $75,000 could do for our scene at a time when St. Louis is losing industry talent to other cities because they can't make any money here. They move on and have successful careers elsewhere... artists are stuck and the people like Debra Antney keep it moving until the next unsuspecting artist.

B Gyrl contacted June 5th via Facebook for their take. No Page, this message was posted: “been in this music since 02 look at all the bs we been through friends family members I lost a few fake media aim at my crew ! The man I use to love I lost him to !
