OUTTOWN is a popular weekly entertainment blog edited by award winning journalist/event producer Marcus Ma'at Atkins. It is based in the St Louis area that covers arts and entertainment events in the Illinois /Missouri area every Tuesday with a pic recap of events taken and every Thursday with an A&E news wrap up of events going on called ILLI MO A&E BITZ. It was created and established in July 2005.

OUTTOWN2: Greetings OUTTOWNERS, I am the editor and photographer of the #1 blog in the St Louis area. I have been in media as a journalist professionally since 2000 and along the way have copped several awards from the Illinois Press Association, NABJ and a Regional Emmy Award nomination. My side projects are the annual Mr Couture Style Contest, photography (including the OBSDN Men of Color Calendar) consulting artists, and producing theater plays under my production company Maatology Productions. I also have Masters in Communications from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and supervise over one of the tallest water geysers in the St Louis area at Malcolm Martin Memorial Park.
